A little about me: My husband and I bought our little humble abode about 6 years ago, and since then it’s been one crazy adventure after another. I always wanted to be rooted on a farm since I was a little girl. I have always had an interest in Homesteading, and I have learned a lot on this journey. From growing gardens of herbs and vegetables, to canning, cooking, baking, becoming parents, and now raising chickens!

We have renovated the majority of our home, learning and growing through every room, right down to the studs.

Here we are now, with 2 beautiful children, 2 happy dogs, 8 quirky chickens, and a pandemic later. If the pandemic taught me anything, it’s to be prepare, to learn how to be self-sufficient where possible, and finding ways to make life easier. So follow me on my journey, and let’s get started!
